...However every surface (non-air) mile they cover on their journey (expected to be 8-10,000), they are challenging people to make a donation to TEAK FELLOWSHIP, a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged, yet gifted teens have a shot at getting a top education. They ask that anyone excited about this proposition to make a donation to teakfellowship.org. In the DONATION section, enter that it is in honor of "Sarah and Andy Overland 2006" and you can give $1 a mile (wow, that's very generous of you) or .0000000023 cents a mile -- whichever you feel most comfy with.

"Fans" can then follow their journey at overland2006.blogspot.com as it unfolds March 1, 2006 and ends March 2, 2007. Thank you so much for your support!

You guys are about like Aerosmith. Do a world tour, visit freakin' Kuala Lumpur, but don't hit Memphis, TN. Just try finding a decent BBQ in Angor Wat, OK? Try getting pancakes at 2 a.m. in Karachi.

Andy, I'm a close friend of your Mother's and just wish you and Sarah a safe journey and I'll be following your tour of "memory making" moments.

My daughter spent a semester of college in Italy three years ago and is still talking about it! They were based in Florence but traveled to many other countries while on weekend free travel.

I agree with Michael..........a world tour and no stop in Memphis??

It's Mon. and I just finished reading about your interesting experiences in Ireland. Well done on describing the unusual food, drinks, and surroundings. The
pictures are great--so spiritual
looking! Thanks for calling me.
So good to hear your voices. I made "the" brownies last night for
"reach group". I love you two!

The Mary Kay mtg. was very interesting and I enjoyed it. Not
sure what my next move will be.
Keep the pictures coming. It lets
me see the journey through your
eyes... Take care of Sarah. Mom

Andy and Sarah:

Sounds like you are having a wonderful trip. We think of you often and miss you both very much. Your Dad stopped by today and took Miss M. to the park--much needed break for Beth. Sis is starting to walk; she'll be driving and doing differential equations by the time you are back. Be safe, be there or b-square.

Love to you both,
Beth and Steve
